Emmy Otwii

Otwii Emmy is an emerging entrepreneur, community reformer, business developer and global change maker.

“I was inspired by Tony Elumelu, the founder of the Tony Elumelu Foundation. He is passionate about economic empowerment of youth in Africa, and when youth are empowered, the level of poverty decreases,” says Emmy.

For Emmy, unemployment and underemployment amongst young people are on the increase. Thus when he sees opportunities and breakthroughs to create jobs, transform lives and create prosperity, he takes it on. Feel free to connect with Emmy on Facebook here.

In commemoration of the International Youth Day and the 10th Anniversary of iKapture’s flagship youth project, YLEAD, 25 young changemakers from across Africa were selected for the 25 under 25 Young Leaders award due to their great contributions in their communities and to the UN SDGs. Emmy is one of the young, exemplary leaders.
